Critical service pilot

Test the approach
on a service that matters.

A pilot gives your team a practical way to evaluate SignalFront. Together we connect the evidence around one critical service, establish the material risks and identify an improvement to verify where action is authorised.

A practical starting point

Enough scope to answer a real question.

Choose one critical business service, its primary site and the locations or shared services it depends on.

We agree the evidence sources, collection approach, service-owner involvement and acceptance criteria before delivery. Timing and fees follow the agreed scope.

A good first service has

  • An owner who can explain its consequence
  • A clear security or resilience question
  • Access to people, records and agreed evidence
  • A team able to review the findings
  • A path to approve one useful action

From agreed question to checked result.

01

Scope the service

Set the boundary, key scenarios, operating constraints and the claims that matter.

02

Establish the evidence

Build a service map and evidence register. Make uncertainty and contradictions explicit.

03

Assess and prioritise

Assess cyber and operational consequence, including recovery and lifecycle dependencies. Compare practical actions by expected benefit, effort and disruption.

04

Authorise and act

Select one action where feasible. Agree a separate scope, approvals and safe working conditions for execution.

05

Verify and hand over

Collect new evidence, check the result and provide an executive summary with the supporting evidence pack.

Establish priorities and the evidence to act.

A connected service view

Evidenced relationships across systems, infrastructure and operating procedures, with gaps and unverified dependencies visible.

A defensible assessment

Evidence register, separate risk views, prioritised recommendations and assessment limits.

An improvement to verify

A record of the authorised action and verification result, plus a practical roadmap for further coverage.

If no action is authorised, the pilot can establish findings and recommendations. A proposed or simulated result remains distinct from a verified improvement.

How we scope a pilot.

How does the pilot use what we already have?

Existing monitoring, configuration, asset and recovery systems provide useful evidence. Online and offline collectors bring that together with records, inspections and operating knowledge, preserving the source and limitations of each contribution.

Can we start in a restricted or disconnected environment?

We assess the evidence and trust boundaries during scoping. Collection and deployment are separate choices. Online and offline evidence can support connected or local operation, subject to the supported capabilities and your authorised transfer boundaries.

Will SignalFront automatically make changes?

A recommendation does not execute a change. Hands-on action requires an agreed scope and client authorisation, followed by the agreed verification.

What determines the cost and duration?

The service boundary, locations, available evidence, access arrangements and authorised work. These are agreed in the proposal before delivery.

Bring one service and one difficult question.

We’ll agree the evidence, operating constraints and outcome that would make a pilot worthwhile.
